Principle Investigator

Yumeng Yang (杨雨梦)
Yumeng received B.Sc. degree in Materials Science from Sichuan University in 2011. In the same year, guided by Prof. Huaqiang Wu, he had a short internship in the Institute of Microelectronics at Tsinghua University. From 2012 to 2016, he pursued Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at National University of Singapore under the guidance of Prof. Yihong Wu. He was the recipient of President’s Graduate Fellowship during 2014 to 2016. After that, he worked as a research engineer and research fellow. He is currently an assistant professor in the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University.

He has authored or co-authored many papers on top tier journals, including Science, Nature Communications, Physical Review Applied, Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, etc. He serves as the reviewer for journals such as Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, IEEE Transaction on Magnetics, Applied Physics A and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II. He is also the co-inventor of two US patents and one PCT patent.


Researcher

Amit Kumar Shukla
Amit is a postdoc researcher in SIT Lab. He obtained PhD from Osaka University in 2018 working on voltage controlled magnetic anisotropy. After that he carried out one year of postdoc research in National University of Singapore. His current research interests involve:
• Spin wave study
• Electric field control magnetic properties
• Magnetic Tunnel Junction
• Skyrmion study
• Spin transfer torque


Graduate Student

Zhenxiao Fu (付震霄)
Graduated from ShanghaiTech University as a Bachelor in Physics in 2020.
Interested in novel nano-devices as well as related algorithm/CA problems.
Love travelling and taking photos with film cameras.

Yijun Qian (钱益军)
Yijun received his B.S.degree of Microelectronics Science and Engineering from China Jiliang University. And he joined shanghaitech University in Summer 2020 for further study on semiconductor device characterization and modeling.


Jialun Yao (姚佳伦)
Jialun got a bachelor degree in Electric Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(NUAA)in 2020 before joining the Spin InfoTech Lab. He is now associatively educated by ShanghaiTech University and Huahong Group for a master degree. His studying direction is advanced memory technology.


Bin Rong (荣滨)
Bin will receive the B.S. degree of microelectronics science and engineering from Xidian University in 2021, and join the Spin InfoTech Lab after that. His research interests include spintronics and MRAM. His ideal goal is to use the obtained knowledge to make the world more reasonable (even a little bit). Good luck to him.


Yanghui Liu (刘阳辉)
Yanghui received B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Hainan University in 2019. He is currently an academic master student in the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. His research interest is Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM). He likes playing basketball, travelling and singing. In 2018, He served as a volunteer of Boao Forum for Asia and he was responsible for receiving foreign guests and preparing for the welcoming dinner. He was awarded the outstanding volunteer of Hainan Province and the outstanding member of the Student Union of Hainan University.


Yaqi Rong (荣雅琪)
Yaqi was born in Anhui Province, China, in 1998. She will graduate from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications majoring in Electronic Information Engineering and enter ShanghaiTech University for her postgraduate study in 2021. She loves dancing and other literary and art activities. She hopes to find her future direction and constantly improve herself.


Undergradute Student

Bi Bo (匕卜)
Bi Bo is a passionate undergraduate student in SIT Lab. He is a hardworking, relentless robot without emotion. He is interested in precise location techniques based on hardware sensors. Recently, he is also developing interests in intelligent mapping and route planning algorithms. We all sincerely hope to see him making breakthroughs in the two areas.
