In silico pre clinical trials for implantable cardioverter defibrillators

Abstract

This paper presents in-silico pre-clinical trials for implantable cardioverter defibrillators using large cohorts of synthetic patients generated from heart models. The framework compares competing arrhythmia detection algorithms, explores parameter sensitivity, and shows how simulation can reduce clinical-trial cost, duration, and risk.
