Postgraduate (Master and Ph.D.) Students
The group is actively looking for postgraduate (PG) students.
During the postgraduate study, you will be involved into cutting edge research in the general areas of optimization, machine learning, and signal processing. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong mathematical background and solid logical thinking skills. Candidates should demonstrate excellent academic performance in the undergraduate (UG) study, typically with GPA within top 5% from top-class universities or with rich academic research experiences.

Research Interns (for ShanghaiTech students)
Research interns of all ranks (UG or PG) are expected to conduct research the same as postgraduate students. Candidates should have strong mathematical background, be good at computer programming (like Matlab, Python, and R), and feel comfortable in English writing.

Visiting Students
Visiting students of all ranks (UG or PG) should aim for scientific research with publishing high-quality papers as a primary purpose of the visit. Strong academic record is expected. Long-term stay (minimum 5 months) is expected.

Research Assistants (RAs)
Research assistants should have a bachelor degree or above, with a plan of advanced study in the future. RA can either participate in projects of the group or undertake any research topics under mutual interest after discussing with the supervisor. The group can assist with related resources and fund publication and travel cost.
