Janurary 6, 2020: Dr. Yang joined the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University as an assistant professor to develop novel spintronic devices for information technology.
March 2, 2020: Due to the Covid-19 situation, Dr. Yang started teaching EE221 Solid State Physics online.
March 17, 2020: Our collaboration work "Intrinsic skyrmions in monolayer Janus magnets" has been accepted by Physical Review B. Congrats!
March 20, 2020: Our collaboration work "Multistate Magnetization Switching Driven by Spin Current From a Ferromagnetic Layer" has been accepted by Physical Review Applied. Congrats!
April 23, 2020: The SIST building room 1B-B101 was assigned to Spin InfoTech Lab. We finally got the lab space to start.
May 5, 2020: The spring semester finally started off-line although it is almost approaching the end. What a rough start!
June 18, 2020: We got the open project from State Key Laboratory of Functional Materials for Informatics in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology to develop the magnetic memory unit for the next generation of SOT-MRAM. Congrats!
July 14, 2020: Dr. Yang was awarded the Shanghai XSC Talent Program for his contributions in spintronic memory and sensing devices. Congrats!
